What up everybody, I'm Matty Matheson

And I'm Benny Blanco,

And we're guest correspondents with wired.

And today we're testing and reviewing kitchen gadgets.

[techno music playing]

Can we get the first gadget?

[Techno music playing]

Corn's not a gadget

What's this thing. Oh, chef'n cob corn stripper,

easily removes corn from the cob

in one quick twist and pushing motion.

Wait, there's more...

[Matty] It's durable stainless steel blades,

effortlessly strip kernels in seconds.

You know you just speak the word like,

like [indistinct] you just make it so you

don't make fun of my cadence.

Yeah, I'm making fun of your cadence.

My cadence is, is exactly how I talk

Price: $7.99

[Matty] I bought this as I grow my own corn.

Yay for you.

[Matty] And every year I'm pushed

for space in the freezer.

So I figured stripping the corn first would help, doing it

with a knife is laborious. Yeah.

So difficult and hardly worth the effort.

So I tried this. Mcnystrom!

This gets stuck halfway through

once the cob makes it through my hand,

holding the tool would shoot forward and slam into the bowl.

Sending corn, flying. One star.

How? How do you know what to do? Wait,

Oh, this is awesome,

dude. This is great.

[Benny] That's perfect. How do you do it?

You twist it or [indistinct] yeah, yeah...

Oh, this thing's great,

dude its amazing.

[Benny] How did you do it so fast?

Cause I have strong hands and shoulders.

I do see what Mcnystrom is saying.

I got a little bit everywhere.

My arm is so tired. Why don't you just cut it off?

Like how you do real?

No, You gotta just want to just turn it like this

and then you bottom to

[Benny] wow.

Why don't we just cut it like real corn.

that's a gadget.

No

gadgets need to exist.

[Matty] 100% is the greatest tool

I've ever used in my life. [coughing]

You smell like gastral

Shh, [beep] this is a hundred percent

the best thing I've ever seen. It's easily.

That's a, five-star.

wait. It's five?

We don't even know what the next gadgets are.

It doesn't [beep] matter. It's just,

this is an individual product

this is the hardest thing I've ever done.

I think you're just like not really sound in the head.

Wins Grammy's, Can't twist a piece of corn.

Can I get the next gadget please?

[Techno music playing]

Oh, what's this? A Thermo mix?

You can make beef stroganoff.

No

You can make stuffed squid.

How do you make stuff? How does that make?

Does it have hands inside?

Yup, It's got hands.

You can't even open it.

Where's the hands? If there's hands in there.

No there's blades.

No.

It'll cut your hands off.

Yeah, then you get hands

[Matty] Multo by a cookingpal.

This cook and pal has 10 appliances and 10 appliances in

one.

Yeah,

[Matty] it's got a food processor, Scale steamer,

kneading machine, knead with the blades?

yogurt maker,

[Matty] slow cooker

[Benny] Mixer, Blender...

[Matty] Rice cooker, yogurt maker?

Yeah

[Matty] Declutter-er?

for your countertop space during cooking

[Benny] Wi-fi

[Matty] Bluetooth capabilities,

you can check the doge coins. $999 and 99 cents.

[Benny] All in one cooking robot. Amazing.

I've been using other brands similar to this product

for years. This new Multo, they need a better name.

That's crazy.

The name is trash.

The name is trash. no extra cost or guidance.

Cook book recipe! all included!

And that was five stars.

[Matty] I opened the lid to

find a soupy, lukewarm mess of noodles,

raw garlic and heavy cream. It was terrible.

The raw garlic imparted a strange sweetness to the dish.

That's impossible. And though, and looked okay.

It didn't taste very good.

So that one was three stars... you just said

It's a liquid lukewarm mess.

And then they said it looked good.

I have all my ingredients here.

It's a really great Malosh of ingredients. That,

what are you going to create a better mouth? You know,

it's a foundation of many kind of cooking things like

gravies and sauces

to add flour

[Matty] Add flour. How much flour Benny?

Okay.

You had 1.7 ounces of flour.

Pour it in and I'll tell you when it's ready.

[Matty] Okay.

That in, [Matty screaming] That's good.

Then add the butter, 1.5 ounces.

No

too much

Take some out.

How much?

we don't. We don't even have enough milk.

No, Perfect. Perfect.

Perfect. Okay.

Now, no, I don't drink.

That's why you have weak bones.

We need 0.5. teaspoons of salt.

Perfect.

We need one pinch of pepper. Now we need to start.

You need the nutmeg?

No, it doesn't say put nutmeg in.

Okay, perfect.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, [lid closing]

Hurry it up!

Don't worry

Okay.

[beep] this one's so much harder than the start.

Is it?

Now, we just wait seven minutes.

Add nutmeg in chop Gruyere.

Yeah, open it up.

No, no, no. Don't

There's nutmeg in this, it's the same [beep]

it's in there. It's fine.

Okay.

Start.

[ machine makes whirring sounds]

[laughing] It's ready, Okay. Who's got a bowl?

You get this [beep] thousand dollar thing over here

and you just cover it up. hmm

Don't worry.

That's nice.

Now, drink it.

How's it taste?

Oh, okay, that's so salty.

It's salty? [Matty coughing]

If you follow the recipe,

it probably be a little bit different, but you know,

you smell that [coughing] [beep]

This is a 10 out of 10,

5 for 5 stars

10 out of 10 , world's greatest, highly recommend.

You're seeing it here first.

[Benny] It's great. That one was, that tastes good.

[laughing] 100%. No lie.

A regular person doesn't need that.

But also if you have a thousand dollars to spend on that,

you don't give a [beep] about anything.

So [beep] next gadget please.

[pleasant techno music playing]

Looks like I have a telescope or Pete.

No,

No? Okay, it's a sushi bazooka ninja kit.

[Benny] This 14 piece sushi sushi meal kit

is perfect for all sushi lovers of all levels

with it's simple to make, do it yourself kit

showcase your inner sushi ninja and create masterpieces

that no one has dared. $16.99.

That's a price I can get behind.

It's like a pack of smokes. You need batteries?

[Benny] Andrew. This sushi bazooka is amazing. No issues.

I'm not sure why others reported it's breaking.

[Matty] The instructions are easy to understand.

The avocado slicer works like a dream. five stars.

What? It comes with the bazooka?

That is the you're holding the bazooka, but this is broke.

And I don't understand why this is even on it because it

doesn't. [beep]

[Benny] This is a terrible sushi maker.

Won't even stay together long enough to make anything.

There's so much stuff on our thing. I can' even see.

There's like caked on flour.

It's all in pieces and you have to figure everything out and

it won't stay together. One star.

Okay. So how do you even try out here?

Literally just this thing's a knife.

[Matty] No, it's not.

[Benny] Yes it is.

[Matty] So we have cooked rice.

This is for the most basic losers ever.

If you ordered a California roll, you're loser.

[Benny] Wait, what about the avocado?

The slicer comes with the bazooka.

[Matty] Yeah, it slices it easy.

What's in your shirt?

[Matty] This one's broken. That one's broken too

It does bazooka, pretty good.

But I don't understand why you need this.

If you have the roller...

This is the best enrichment ever.

Oh yeah.

[Benny] It's like doing everything twice.

You just take the rice and

you put it on top of the thing without this.

This is like, you're doing it twice.

Yeah. This is really nice.

The bazooka does get it out.

Yeah. Looks great. Yeah, sushi's great

Was ignoring me in class.

And then I'm going to the house. It's really good

[Matty] I'm giving 10!

[Benny] Yeah, 10 stars.

Yeah, this is a 10 out of 10. You saw it.

You saw the magic.

Hey, can we add the next gadget?

[Techno music playing]

Oh perfect! A pasta extruder!

I think that

ice cream maker, for sure.

Ice cream maker?

No, I, let me...

No, You see front

Let me look at

[Matty] Philip pasta noodle maker.

Plus the film's process.

A noodle mega plus creates fresh homemade pasta noodles any

day of the week.

It doesn't discriminate.

In 10 minutes. It says, in 10 minutes.

[Matty] Just add your flour,

press the button machine automatically mixes,

kneads and extrudes in one go,

making the whole process easy and efficient.

[Matty and Benny saying together] $300.

Good review bought a second one.

This pasta maker was recommended by a friend.

She told me how easy it was to use the pasta maker.

And it came out great.

I bought one for my daughter and my son-in-law for

Christmas to share.

[Matty] That's another 100 bucks, Carol Brandenburg

Rip off, knock off machine.

I thought it had an auto-weigh function. Duh, doesn't.

But it does not.

I wonder if I got a knockoff machine by mistake.

We've tried to make a pasta three times so far

it's been very difficult. Three stars! for being so mad.

She still gave it three stars.

Yeah, the star doesn't seem that bad

No, let's make a [Indistinct] spaghetti.

let's make some pasta flour.

No, no, no.

[Matty] First mix it up.

It's good. It's good.

[Benny] Perfect.

[Matty] Play! Oh, it's like a laundry detergent.

Wait spaghetti's coming for dinner.

now we have to wait for it.

[Matty] It's done. See...

[Benny] No, it just [beep] [beep]

tight.

E1! I think that means error. [beep]

Do you like spaghetti, Benny?

Oh Okay, Shut up...

Okay. It's stopped now.

Oh Nope.

Nope!

Now what are these knobs for? [beep]

[Benny] Okay guys, So as you can see

it extrudes all the pasta really well.

No. Yeah, it's coming great.

This is how you're supposed to do it. No, no, no.

It's perfect here. Take it out.

We just need more flour. [beep]

there, now do it.

there's still sushi everywhere.

It says E1 again.

Oh

it says E1, hold on. Let me [beeps]

Let me have you on a Michoacan restaurant.

If you have any type of restaurant ever,

this is what's in the kitchen.

The first pasta ever made in Italy was on the Phillips

extruder here easily. This is a five out of five.

Oh, this is oh, that's nice.

What is that? It's almost like a Roman noodle.

This is beautiful.

If we would have just taken our time

and not rat [beeps] this, Pasta, you just

you don't want it to be sticky.

You want it to be each strand to be really nice and drawing.

This is Great. Josh. This is great

And individual, you don't want

[Benny] Josh gets 5 stars.

to be able to pull it apart easily.

Final gadget please.

[ Pleasant techno music playing]

[Matty] Thank you

Josh, Josh, Josh

And topper shell. Oh, ah.

So this is for quail eggs. Is that for quail eggs,

like smaller eggs, small lifts,

[Benny] egg topper, eggshell shell cutter.

quickly open eggs without dirty hands.

The egg topper is easy to use. Just to line the cup.

Wait, just wait, just read it with your finger.

[Matty] You know there's so much stuff

[Benny] Just align the cup on egg top.

Pull out the hammer and let it go. $9.99.

[Matty] I love this eggshell cutter

because it's two sizes.

It's so easy to make the holes. Yeah.

Cracking eggs has been just a big dilemma.

The entire existence of human race. I also love that one.

It's not too big. Okay.

Next word. Fixed size.

[Benny] One star does not work. Reviews are fake.

The eggshell does not cut clean debris will get in food.

Lots of debris.

Not dollars.

Okay. So what do you do?

No. No, I think you cut it down.

No, no, no.

You want to try it?

No

I've been doing everything.

I'll hold,

Really? You don't even do anything

Okay. You ready? You ready?

I don't have an iPad.

Be ready.

[Matty] Yeah. Oh, perf.

Am I doing it?

Yeah, you did it. It's done.

Oh, there you go.

See. Perfect.

Look. You don't even dirty your hands so perfect guys.

[Benny] You're supposed to do this

on the eggs that have been already cooked.

This is would not be for a raw egg.

[Matty] No, it's perfect.

[Benny] You brought raw egg?

Oh, is this a joke?

What is this like? Your tryna [beep] us up?

[Matty and Benny shouting]

5 out of 5, greatest invention. The spoon can suck it,

the fork, get out of here, your hands [beep] off.

This thing can open eggs better than anything.

Ah, How many? We did five?

and that's all five gadgets.

I'm Matty Matheson.

Thank you for having me. Sorry,

I'm Benny Blanco.

Why do you always yell?

It works.
